“It is my dream to share my love of Pilates with you, to encourage you to frequently and joyfully move your body, and to hopefully make a lasting and positive impact in your life”

~ Founder Jess Dalton

Meet Our Founder Jess Dalton

Jess loves exercising and has been passionate about moving her body for most of her adult life. Jess practices her craft and does Pilates every day. It’s feel-good movement for her and creates a balance in her mental and physical life that is missing when she steps away from this routine.

“I have a passion to share this feel-good experience with you, your friends, your work colleagues, and anyone I can help to feel this way.” ~ Jess Dalton

About Jess

Born and raised in Canberra, Jess did her first Pilates class while living in Coogee in 2006 while living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for several years. She became obsessed with the way Pilates made her feel: strong, more flexible and in a flow-like state she had not experienced before. It gave her confidence in her body that she’d never experienced before. Fast-forward 16 years and she’s still Pilates obsessed.

After studying to become a Pilates instructor with Breathe Education, Jess and her husband have followed through on this passion and they opened their Canberra studios, Power Flow Pilates Mawson in 2022 and Power Flow Pilates McKellar in 2024.

About Julie

Julie began her journey into fitness later in life.  After her very first yoga class she was hooked and qualified as a Yoga Teacher in 2015.  She added to her experience in 2018 as a certified Pilates Mat Work Teacher  and looking for ways to expand knowledge successfully completed a Cert III in Fitness in 2020. When the opportunity came to add on again she did training in Pilates Reformer.

Julie has been teaching Group Fitness in Canberra for 7 years.  Her passion is allowing participants to create a path to fitness in a way that suits their own individual bodies. Reformer work is a fantastic way to do that.
